Overview

Continuing Education Units are courses designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of the CNA/HHA and enhance the skills in the employer-based healthcare settings. CEUs must be taken with CDPH-approved providers only with a NAC#. In this case, CAL ACE is assigned  with NAC#7118

License Renewal Details

Do not wait for your hard-earned license to expire. You should successfully obtain and submit documentation of forty-eight (48) hours of In-Service Training/CEUs within your most recent certification period. A minimum of twelve (12) of the forty-eight (48) hours shall be completed in each year of the two (2) year certification period. A maximum of twenty-four (24) of the forty-eight (48) hours may be obtained only through a CDPH-approved online computer training program listed on the CDPH website. CEU’s are offered every weekend from 9am to 4pm. Please Register or send a message to (424)2503978 or canursingacademy@gmail.com. Walk-ins are welcome to attend CNA’s and HHA’s are expected to be in-person and complete these courses which are offered on Saturday and Sunday at the CALIFORNIA ACADEMY OF LEADERSHIP AND CONTINUING EDUCATION – CAL ACE TRAINING CENTER, 1535 Landess Ave., Unit 103 Milpitas California.

Requirements

Every learner will receive a certificate as proof that a CEU courses are completed successfully and are attested by the Master Instructor certified by the CDPH.The Certified Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aide In-Service Training/Continuing Education Units (CDPH 283A) must be completed and submitted to the Department for review with the renewal application package.
